This notice explains cookies and similar technologies relevant to SI Database, a Neura Collective publication operated by Brandion LLC.
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small piece of data a website may store in your browser. Some cookies support essential functions, such as recognizing an authenticated site editor. Others, when installed, can measure audiences or support advertising.
WordPress sign-in
WordPress uses login and authentication cookies for authorized site administrators and editors. For example, WordPress documents cookies beginning with wordpress_logged_in_ for logged-in sessions. These are functional rather than advertising cookies. WordPress cookie documentation describes this behavior.
Hosting and caching
Our Hostinger hosting environment and LiteSpeed Cache setup support page delivery and performance. Depending on the settings used, LiteSpeed or the hosting environment may use cookies or related browser technologies. We do not claim that a particular optional cache cookie is active for every visitor without testing the live configuration.
Contact form
The current Contact form uses server-side validation, a hidden anti-spam field, and a temporary rate-limit record. It does not embed a third-party CAPTCHA or intentionally use a marketing cookie to process messages.
Analytics and advertising
SI Database has not enabled Google Analytics, Google AdSense, or Meta Pixel as part of the website’s current setup. If we add analytics, advertising, embedded media, or subscriber tools later, we will review and update this notice and introduce any consent mechanisms required for those services.
Browser choices
Most browsers allow you to view and clear stored cookies through their privacy or site settings. Disabling essential cookies may prevent authorized users from signing in or may affect some site functions.
Questions and changes
If you have a question about the website’s use of cookies or related technologies, email info@sidatabase.com. We will update this notice when our verified configuration changes.
